Crash things down

The warm wild stream seeps into the ocean.
Red smoke seeps into the wet sky.
Old time slows down.
remember the ghosts of his past.
He is their prisoner.
Let your kiss linger.
Hold your breath.
He may look back.

The day he learned not to cry was the day he learned how to hate.
Scribbled out eyes.
Crippled down lungs.
Singing sweet lullabys to you.
Your eyes no longer hide the truth.

Smoke circles round the bend.
Shots in the arms and legs.
He's lost his soul.
No more shall he be carrying coal.
Hold your light.
Dont let it become.

The day he learned not to cry was the day he learned how to hate.
Scribbled out eyes.
Crippled down lungs.
Singing sweet lullabys to you.
Your eyes no longer hide the truth.
